Cardiovascular diseases are, in a broader sense, all diseases of the heart and blood vessels. This term is generally used to refer to diseases caused by atherosclerotic degenerative changes: ischemic heart disease, ischemic lower limb disease and ischemic stroke
The aim of the lecture is to make the general public understand how heart and blood vessels in our body work, what happens in case of their damage and what are the treatment options. All those who would like to learn something new or who would want to supplement their knowledge or personal experience are invited.
