Cardiovascular diseases are one of the so-called civilization diseases, which are related to an unhealthy lifestyle. Their most common cause is atherosclerosis. It develops slowly, usually without symptoms, for many years, and the first symptoms usually manifest themselves only in advanced stages of the disease. For this reason, education and prevention are critical to reducing the incidence and severity of cardiovascular disease at the atherosclerotic base.

The aim of the lecture is to guide listeners in the right direction: to refute untruths, to clarify half-truths and to support his interest in proper care of his own physical and mental condition. The lecture is suitable for all who want to do something for their health.
